FRANKLIN, Tenn. (June 26, 2020) – MAPCO, the convenience store chain with 343 stores throughout the southeastern region of the United States, has re-opened their store at 1315 N Pine St. in Florence, Alabama following a full rebuild.
The complete rebuild is part of MAPCO’s continual work to create a place where guests can refresh and recharge at their pace with quality products and services at a value that is relevant to them. The 1,280 sq. ft. location now boasts a bright, modernized design with natural light throughout the store and in the restrooms, free in-store Wi-Fi, roller grill serving a selection of hot food, healthy options, a new bean to cup coffee machine and a cappuccino machine, along with a host of merchandise for guests to stock up while they refuel.
The store raise and rebuilt comes to finish the refresh that was made last year to the fuel canopy, incorporating at that time new pumps, a new fuel canopy with LED lighting that added more visibility at the store.
While the sitting area are temporary closed to comply with social distancing guidelines, guests are welcome to visit the store for their fueling and grab-and-go needs.

As MAPCO stores continue to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic, all stores employ rigorous and frequent disinfecting processes while closely following the latest information and guidelines from local, state and federal government agencies and health organizations. Plexiglass shields have been installed in every store and masks, gloves and hand sanitizer have been provided to all team members. Additionally, MAPCO has installed gloves at the fuel pumps as another step to help to stop the spread. To support social distancing efforts, store occupancy has been limited and MAPCO has placed physical in-store indicators on floors to support appropriate distancing.
