MAPCO opens new store in Sevierville, TN

MAPCO offering Sevierville guests a “Better Break” with innovative new flagship design, relevant products and commitment to the community

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (April 29, 2021) –  MAPCOthe convenience store chain with more than 330 stores throughout the Southeastern region of the United States, has opened its first location in Sevierville, Tennessee, at 730 Winfield Dunn Parkway, expanding its footprint in the Blue Ridge region.

 

Frederic Chaveyriat, CEO of MAPCO, Tony Harris, Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer of MAPCO and fellow company executives were joined by Mayor Robert “Robbie” W. Fox, Mark Ross, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains, members of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce, and members from the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains board for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the community’s newest business.

 

As part of MAPCO’s commitment to the community and improving educational opportunities for children, MAPCO executives presented Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains representatives with a $5,000 check toward their “Power Hour” program, which helps children with reading and homework assistance. Additionally, MAPCO fueled one of the club’s busses that is used to transport children to and from the organization. The donation is funded through MAPCO’s Giveback program, which supports nonprofits and community organizations in the communities MAPCO serves.

The 5,000+ sq. ft. store is one of MAPCO’s largest location to-date and is an example of MAPCO’s new interior design and fuel canopy. The design features an emphasis on a refreshed layout with natural light and tones as well as greenery to enhance the guest experience and help team members operate seamlessly. MAPCO’s commitment to the community is reinforced with a unique interior mural that underscores the heritage of the Blue Ridge region and company’s dedication to the community.


Guests visiting the store will enjoy MAPCO’s Better Break value proposition, where they can refresh and recharge at their pace with quality products and services at a competitive price that is relevant to them. The location offers “better for you” products, hot and cold grab-n-go items, a smoothie machine, four different coffee machines (espresso, brewed, bean-to-cup, nitro), a beer cave stocked with craft and import options, wine, health essentials, automotive products, indoor/outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi, 20 fuel positions and more.

 

In addition to MAPCO’s newest location in Sevierville, the convenience store chain will be remodeling and expanding 30+ stores across the state of Tennessee to provide high quality fuel, essential products and services to more communities.
